A Jasper man died following a Thursday night crash involving his motorcycle in Liberty County. The Texas Department of Public Safety says 33-year-old James Patrick Carroll was riding a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Highway 90 near Farm to Market Road 1009, about halfway between Beaumont and Liberty. Troopers said 69-year-old Edmond Henderson, of Devers, was driving westbound on Highway 90 in a 2014 Chevrolet pickup truck and he attempted to turn onto FM 1009 and turned in front of the motorcycle, which collided with the truck. Carroll was rushed to St Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont where he died. Henderson wasn’t injured.
