Investigators say sudden medical problem likely in crash and death in Orange Co

Investigators say they believe it was a sudden medical problem that caused a Louisiana man to crash his vehicle and to later die. The incident occurred shortly after 5:oo Wednesday evening on Farm to Market Road woo south of Orange. The man has been identified as 57-year-old Clarence John Dupre, of Eunice, Louisiana. Orange County Sheriff's Department Captain Joey Jacobs says Dupre was driving a pickup truck near the construction site of a Chevron plant when his truck went off the highway, over a soil berm, and then rolled upside-down. Dupre was taken by ambulance to a Beaumont hospital where he died. Meanwhile, a Justice of the Peace has ordered an autopsy.
