Jasper Police Lieutenant Garrett Foster said Wednesday that the weekend death of a toddler remains under investigation, and the preliminary autopsy results have not yet returned. The 3-year-old boy died on Sunday, August 18th in an apartment at The Park Apartments on Marvin Hancock Drive. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Mike Smith, who ordered the autopsy. Judge Smith said there were no visible signs of trauma or injury on the child’s body.
