An injured jet-skier was rescued by a boater at Toledo Bend Reservoir on Sunday evening. Daily News & More in Hemphill is reporting that the incident occurred shortly after 7:00. The report said that the injured person was on an island in the lake close to the Fairmount Community and Paradise Point. However, before firefighters and first responders could arrive and launch their own boats, a report came in saying the injured person had been picked up by a boater and taken to a boat ramp in Newton County. The name of the jet-skier of the extent of their injury was not available.
