KTRE 9 News in Lufkin has obtained a copy of the indictment of a Nacogdoches woman who is accused of causing the death of a young child. Hanna Ruth Moses, who also uses the name Hanna Rogers, is the 33-year-old mother of the toddler, and she has been indicted on a charge of Murder. The report cites the indictment as saying that "Rogers knowingly caused the death of her young son by shaking him and/or striking him, or by causing him to strike an object." Investigators say the crime occurred on May 30th, 2022, and Moses was arrested on April 14th of this year.
