August 6, 2023 - The Sheriff's Office reports the bridge on LA Hwy 1215 near Tranquility Bay is closed to thru traffic. There is no estimated date the bridge will reopen at this time. Motorists can use Carters Ferry Road as an alternate route. Any further details can be obtained from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD).
