The Tyler County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after human remains were discovered over the weekend just west of Steinhagen Lake, commonly known as Dam B. Deputies say what is believed to be a human jawbone was found at a residence on County Road 4120, also known as Pedigo Loop Road. Meanwhile, deputies say they are looking at area cemeteries for any signs of disturbed graves, dating as far back as the 1800s.
