Fire destroyed a home in Sabine County late Tuesday morning, Daily News & More is reporting that it occurred at about 10:30 on Sterle Place, which is about three and-a-half miles northeast of Hemphill. The Pendleton Harbor, Hemphill, Shamrock Shores, and Pineland Fire Departments were all sent to the incident, and the first firefighters on scene reported that the house was already fully engulfed. There were no reports of injuries and no word on what may have caused the blaze.
