Funeral services have now been set for murder victim Rosalin Sch’vet “Ro Ro” Lewis. The 24-year-old Jasper resident was found beaten to death in her apartment at Myrtis Village in east Jasper early Saturday morning. Meanwhile, her alleged killer, boyfriend William Christian Thomas, 22, of Livingston, remains in the Jasper County Jail under a Murder charge and a $1 million bond. Jasper Police Chief Gerald Hall says that Thomas has confessed to the crime. However, police are not releasing any other details as they prepare the case against Thomas. Rosalin was well known, loved, and respected by the youth of Jasper. She and her mother, Schwanda Scott, operated Stunning Stars Cheer & Dance Academy in Jasper and over the years the children that they taught performed at numerous events in this area and traveled to perform in various competitions. The children of Stunning Stars were scheduled to perform at Christmas in the Park in Jasper, but sadly that performance has been cancelled in the wake of Rosalin’s tragic death. Rosalin is survived by her three young children: Kaelum, Aria, and Alakai. Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon in Jasper.
