The Texas Department of Public Safety says four people were injured in a Sunday afternoon head- on collision. It happened shortly before 3:oo on Recreational Road 275 on top of the Lake Rayburn Dam. According to DPS Sergeant Shana Clark, 37-year-old Ty Reimer, of Bowie, was driving an eastbound 2007 Toyota pickup truck when crossed into the westbound lane. Clark said the Toyota collided head-on with a westbound 2020 Ford pickup truck, driven by 75- year-old Myra Davidson, of Brookeland. Sergeant Clark said Reimer was flown by medical helicopter to a Kingwood hospital, while Davidson and two other passengers in her truck were all transported by ambulance to a Lufkin hospital.
