Interim Sabine County Sheriff George Griffith says deputies have made four drug arrests in recent days.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5TH
Griffith said on Wednesday, March 5th, a deputy made a traffic stop on Highway 96 in Pineland and inside the vehicle he found a large amount of methamphetamine. Arrested was Sandra Theresa Hall, 55, of Henderson. She was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and later released from jail under a $15,000.00 bond.
THURSDAY, MARCH 13TH
According to Griffith, on Thursday, March 13th a deputy made a traffic stop on Farm to Market Road 83 East near the Hemphill city limits. Griffith said the driver, Douglas Coleman, 49, of Hemphill, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana. Coleman remains in the Sabine County Jail under a $13,400.00 bond.
FRIDAY, MARCH 14TH
Griffith said on Friday, March 14th investigators wrapped up a lengthy investigation regarding methamphetamine with an arrest of Gary Wayne Farmer, 52, of Hemphill. He was charged with five counts of Manufacture/Delivery of Narcotics. Farmer remains in the Sabine County Jail under a $74,000.00 bond.
According to Griffith, on Friday, March 14th deputies executed a search warrant and an arrest warrant in the 100 block of Wild Cherry Drive in the Milam Community. Griffith said deputies found 2.3 ounces of methamphetamine and they arrested 53-year-old Tammy Lynette Stetson, of Hemphill. She was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and she remains in the Sabine County Jail under a $30,000.00 bond.
