Louisiana State Police have announced that a former Leesville pastor has been arrested and charged with stealing money from the church that he headed up in Vernon Parish. Investigators say Dock Jack Osteen, III was arrested in Polk County Florida on Friday following an investigation into missing funds at First Assembly of God Church in Leesville and the issuance of an arrest warrant, which was for Theft up to $25,000.00. At last word Osteen remained jailed in Florida awaiting extradition back to Vernon Parish. The investigation was conducted by both the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Department and Louisiana State Police.
