Former Jasper County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Jack Royce Myers, Sr. has died. Myers, who served under the late Sheriff Aubrey Cole, passed away early Friday. He was 82.
Myers was also a deputy in Newton County under late Sheriff Wayne Powell.
Funeral services are planned for Sunday, December 5th at 2:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Newton.
