Bossier City police are investigating a fatal crash on Barksdale Boulevard near Fullilove Drive.
Police say a 62-year-old woman riding a bike was attempting to cross the street Wednesday night when she was struck by a southbound pickup.
The victim was taken Ochsner LSU Health where she died from her injuries.
Police investigating the accident said the driver of the truck was unable to avoid the collision.
The cyclist’s name is not being released.
