The Sabine County grand jury has indicted a former Little League Baseball president and coach on child sexual abuse charges. Adam Isaacks, 38, has been jailed in Jasper County since December 31st and held under a $7 million bond following his arrest on multiple charges of Indecency with a Child and Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child.
The Sabine County indictments are for three charges of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child.
Isaacks was the President of the Evadale chapter of Little League Baseball. However, he was removed from that position by the Board of Directors shortly before his arrest and after the board learned of the investigation.
Isaacks is accused of sexually abusing baseball players, as young as 7-years-old, during trips and other outings.
Meanwhile, the Bersen Law Firm in Beaumont recently announced that they have filed a lawsuit on behalf of the alleged victim and their families against Isaacks, Little League Baseball, Inc., Evadale Little League Baseball, Texas District 12 Little League Baseball, and others.
An indictment by a Grand Jury does not mean that a person is guilty of a crime. Instead, it means that Grand Jurors felt that enough evidence existed to merit a trial.
