Mandatory evacuations for Orange County residents on Blankenship Road have been issued due to wildfire. Orange County Sheriff cautioning people to stay away from the area. Due to the fire in the area of Texla Road, mandatory evacuation has been called for the following locations:
East of FM 105 from Corbett Drive to Texla Road
All of Corrigan Road
All of Dixie Drive
All of Rebel Road
All of Shenandoah Drive
All of Shiloh Ridge Road
All of Eaves Road
All of Cole Road
A shelter has been set up at Pine Forest Baptist Church off of 105. Fire departments from both Jasper and Orange County are battling the blaze.
