Violence continues in Beaumont. Police there say five people were shot in the north end of town on Saturday. Police say they responded to a shots fired call at about 4:45am in the 1600 block of Glasshouse Street and arrived to find the five shooting victims on the ground. According to police, it began as a disturbance and fight, then the shooters took off in a car and were firing into the crowd as they sped away. Police say the victims are:
Male, 33 – critical condition
Male, 33 - stable condition
Female, 31 – stable condition
Female, age 23 – stable condition
Female, age 24 – stable condition
Meanwhile, police are still working to identify the shooter or shooters.
