LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Lake Charles Police and Fire Departments responded to a fire this morning at the Oasis Inn & Suites on Lakeshore Drive in Lake Charles.
The incident happened around 1 a.m., and according to a customer at the Inn, everyone was evacuated from their rooms.
The Lake Charles Police Department says the response was due to a fire at the motel and that police were on hand to assist with traffic. The Lake Charles Fire Department has not released any details on the fire at this time.
