A message from your Fire Marshal.

Whether your Christmas Tree is real or artificial, make sure your are taking precautions to prevent a fire and protect you and your family. Keep all trees at least three feet away from fireplaces, radiators, heat vents, candles and light. If your tree is real, ensure that it had adequate water supply to keep the branches and needles moist. Inspect your lights for any exposed wires and turn them out overnight or when you are away.  When installing lights insides or outside the home, always ensure you never overload your outlet and follow the manufacturer's instructions of how many trains of light to plug into each other. Ensure smoke detectors work and keep a fire extinguisher readily available. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
