Feds to try Evadale Little League Coach in April, state poised for their turn

Federal prosecutors are preparing to take a former Evadale Little League baseball coach to trial in April. Meanwhile, Jasper County District Attorney Anne Pickle says the state is ready to go once the feds finish their case. Adam Dale Isaacks, 39, is accused of sexually assaulting multiple young baseball players and he's been indicted on charges both on the state and federal level. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and has requested jury trials. In the six-count federal indictment, Isaacks is accused of taking the young players on out of state trips with the intent of engaging in sexual activity. Those states include Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, and Florida. Those charges are Transporting a Minor, Under the age of 18, in Interstate and Foreign Commerce, with the Intent of Engaging in Sexual Activity. If convicted on the federal charges, he could be imprisoned up to io years and be charged a fine up to $250,000.00.
