SHREVEPORT, La. -- The Caddo Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit has arrested a man from Hosston for allegedly injuring his 2-month-old infant.
The investigation started after the sheriff's office received a report on Saturday of an infant being taken to Ochsner LSU Health hospital with "serious head and facial injuries," as well as a "significant injury" to the right leg, a news release states.
The child's parents were questioned, leading to the arrest of the father, Nicholas Todd, 24, who was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on a charge of second-degree cruelty to juveniles.
