KJAS News has learned that a 51 year old Jasper County man died on Friday evening in an accident involving an all terrain vehicle that occurred in the Brookeland Area.
Rayburn First Responders and Jasper County deputies were dispatched shortly before 11:00 to Private Road 6026 when it was reported that a 4-wheeler had crashed and rolled over.
The driver of the ATV, Jack Waring who was a resident of the Brookeland Area was pronounced dead at the scene by Jasper County Precinct 5 Justice of the Peace Brett Holloway.
A passenger of the vehicle, who has not been identified was not injured in the crash.
