SHREVEPORT, La. (KTBS) - Dangerous heat continues to bake the ArkLaTex. The National Weather Service-Shreveport has an excessive heat warning and a heat advisory is in place until 8 p.m. Tuesday for almost the entire region. Be advised, hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in the air conditioning if possible, stay out of the sun, and check on relatives, neighbors, and pets.
