EUNICE, La. (KPLC) - A Eunice man is facing felony charges after police say he was caught on surveillance touching himself at a grocery store.
Jody Vallier, 38, faces felony counts of obscenity and adulterating a food product.
On April 30, Vallier was seen on surveillance video walking past a female employee at the store, Eunice police said. He then hid behind a nearby aisle, put both his hands down his pants, and touched himself.
Vallier was then seen wiping his hands on a bundle of bananas, placing the bananas in a tomato bin, and walking out of the store, police said.
Vallier was arrested at his home, investigators said. Vallier claimed he did nothing wrong and that he was only scratching himself.
Employees destroyed the produce touched by Vallier, according to police.
