Sonic employees at 909 South Margarete in Kirbyville noticed that one of the lights at an ordering stall was sparking and had caught on fire Monday evening. The sparks originated above the last stall closest to the road on the south side of the building next to the parking lot of Brookshires. Kirbyville Volunteer Firemen arrived on scene and thoroughly investigated the area. They checked wiring overhead and inside the menu kiosk to ensure there were no further concerns.
