GREGG COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - Sabine Fire & Rescue said they responded to an incident involving a load of “frozen, newly smoked french fries” after the trailer brakes caused a fire. Sabine Fire & Rescue said their firefighters were dispatched to an 18-wheeler incident on Thursday after the vehicle’s trailer brakes caused a fire. The truck was hauling a load of frozen french fries, the rescue said, and pictures showed the fries spilling out onto the highway. No one was injured, but the incident caused traffic delays for about seven hours.
