MANY, La. -- An East Feliciana sheriff's deputy was arrested Thursday for indecent behavior with a juvenile in a sting operation conducted out of Sabine Parish. Graham Porter, 37, of Clinton, was arrested by the Louisiana State Police Special Victim's Unit. He's charged with computer-aided solicitation of a minor and indecent behavior with a juvenile, state police said Thursday in a news release. State police booked Porter into the East Feliciana jail as a fugitive then took him to the Sabine Parish Detention Center. East Feliciana Parish Sheriff Jeff Travis said he was notified several days ago that one of his deputies was suspected of being involved in illegal activity. His office cooperated with LSP in Porter's arrest, Travis said in a news release. Travis said Porter had been out of town and had not been on duty since the sheriff's office was informed of the investigation. Porter is no longer employed by the sheriff's office, Travis said. The investigation remains active and ongoing, state police said.
