Jasper County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Scotty Duncan reminded local citizens on Monday, “If you see something suspicious, tell us.” According to Duncan, many crimes have been solved and other crimes have been averted simply by someone reporting suspicious activity. Duncan says deputies continue to investigate recent theft cases and he reminds people to keep your vehicles locked at night and never leave anything of value in your vehicle.
