Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Shana Clark says two men were killed in a fiery head-on collision near Buna. It happened Thursday shortly before midnight on Highway 62 near County Road 806. Sergeant Clark said a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse SUV, driven by James Duke, 20, of Vidor, was southbound and a 2017 Ford F-150 pickup truck, driven by John Andel, 33, of Buna, was northbound. Clark said the driver of the Chevrolet SUV crossed over into the northbound lane and hit the Ford truck head-on. Both vehicles caught on fire after the collision and both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene by Precinct 6 Justice of the Peace Steve Conner.
