The Texas Department of Public Safety says a driver that was stopped for a school bus was rear-ended by another driver and the crash resulted in three injuries. It happened shortly after 4:00 Thursday afternoon on Highway 96 near Tractor Supply in Buna. According to DPS Sergeant Shana Clark, 44-year-old Jeffrey Seegers, of Hemphill, was driving a Ford F-350 truck and had stopped for the school bus. Clark said he was hit from behind by a Dodge truck, driven by 17-year-old George Hentrigh, of Buna. Sergeant Clark said Seegers was taken to St Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont while Hentrigh and an 8-year-old passenger in his truck were taken to Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Clark said their injuries were not life-threatening.
