Polk County Today is reporting that a driver involved in a rollover crash was seriously injured by the chemicals that he was hauling. It happened Tuesday evening just northeast of Livingston. According to the report, Zachary McClung, 27, of Livingston, was driving a 2007 Toyota pickup truck and he was hauling buckets of muriatic acid, chlorine tablets, and other chemicals for a swimming pool company. The report said McClung swerved to avoid a motorcycle and lost control of the truck which then rolled over and spilled the chemicals. McClung suffered facial injuries from the spilled chemicals. He was flown by medical helicopter to a Houston hospital.
