| The Marshall Police Department is investigating a three-vehicle crash that claimed the life of an East Texas woman Wednesday. The crash happened just before 6 a.m. Wednesday in the 4200 block of East End Boulevard South. Police say a passenger car headed northing in the inside lane rear-ended another vehicle, then entered the outside northbound lane, where a large truck hit it. Both occupants in the passenger car were rushed to Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center in Marshall where the passenger later died. No other injuries were reported. The passenger has been identified as 44-year-old April Hayner, of Marshall. The crash remains under investigation. |
