GILMER, Texas (KLTV) - A Gilmer Elementary student has been taken to a hospital after a crash involving a bus Tuesday morning. According to Gilmer ISD administration, the crash happened around 7 a.m. on Highway 154 West. The elementary school bus was reportedly struck from behind by a pickup truck. One student was taken by EMS at the request of a parent, but the extent of their injuries has not been released. Other students have reported minor aches following the crash, the district said.
