The Tyler County Sheriff’s Department says a Tyler County man and woman who were wanted in Jasper County have been arrested. Sheriff Bryan Weatherford said deputies arrested Dustin Ross, 37, and Jeri Mobley, 47, at a home on County Road 3251 in Colmesneil on Thursday.
Weatherford said Ross was wanted in Jasper County for Forgery, while Mobley was wanted in Jasper County for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. Additionally, Weatherford said Ross was wanted in Tyler County on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Sheriff Weatherford said Dustin Ross remains in the Tyler County Jail after Justice of the Peace Milton Powers set his bond at $5,000.00 on the Jasper County charge of Forgery, and he said a District Judge will later set a bond on the Tyler County charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Weatherford said that Jeri Mobley is being held in the Jasper County Jail on her Jasper County charge of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. However, on Monday afternoon the Jasper County Jail said that Mobley is not currently in their facility, and the last time she was held there was in 2018.
