GRANT PARISH, La. (KALB) - A Colfax resident was killed in a workplace accident, according to the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office. GPSO said it responded to an emergency call of a workplace accident at Hunt Plywood, which is north of Pollock. When deputies arrived, they discovered that Shaun Hicks, 28, died as a result of an injury involving machinery at the mill.
