NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB) - A car crashed into the Cane River in the 900 block of Williams Avenue on August 12, according to the Natchitoches Police Department. NPD said this happened around 10:28 p.m. A 2009 Chrysler 300 was going north when the driver swerved left to avoid hitting a deer, causing the car to crash into the river.
