LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - A Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Deputy has been fired and arrested after being accused of domestic abuse.
Ashley Roy, 28, was arrested by the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office on a count of domestic abuse battery, CPSO spokesperson Kayla Vincent said.
The alleged incident happened just before midnight on Dec. 6 at a Nelson Road apartment complex, according to Vincent.
Roy worked in the CPSO Corrections Division for over two years, Vincent said.
Judge Kendrick Guidry ordered Roy to be held without bond pending a Gwen’s Law Hearing, according to Vincent.
