SHREVEPORT, La. - The Caddo Parish Coroner's Office has released the names of two people killed over the weekend in traffic accidents. Cornell Williams, 45, was driving on East Stoner Avenue early Saturday when he ran through a construction area and hit an excavator. He was rushed to the hospital where he died. In a separate crash Saturday morning, a Shreveport man was killed in an accident on Fairfield Avenue. Cory Swift, Jr., 23, was driving a dirt bike in the 1200 block of Fairfield avenue when he crashed it into a Dodge Durango. He died at the hospital. Both of these crashes remain under investigation.
