Jasper County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Scotty Duncan said Wednesday that a trio of theft and burglary suspects have been identified and they’ll soon be behind bars. According to Duncan, in recent weeks the Buna area has been hit hard with residential and business burglaries, along with thefts of copper and also thefts of catalytic converters and radiators from vehicles. Duncan said investigators have identified the three suspects and warrants for their arrest are being issued. Meanwhile, Duncan emphasized “If you see something, say something”. Duncan encouraged people to take an aggressive approach to keeping an eye on your community and to immediately report any suspicious activity that you observe.
