Jasper County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Scotty Duncan says a Buna man was jailed over the weekend following a vehicle crash. According to Duncan, early Sunday morning 28-year-old Cody Glenn Ruso was intoxicated and driving a pickup truck on Farm to Market Road 1004 near County Road 707. Duncan said Ruso went off the highway, struck a utility pole, went through a pasture, and then hit a house. The people in the house were not injured. Duncan says Ruse was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of a Controlled Substance. He remains jailed under a $14,000.00 bond.
