KIRBYVILLE, Texas (KTRE) - Two brothers were arrested in Kirbyville Saturday after a fight lead to them pointing guns at each other.
According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and a Kirbyville police officer responded to the 3700 block of County Road 443 after gunfire was reported in the area.
According to the JCSO, the deputies saw Azion Mahathay, 21 and his brother Brayden Mahathay, 19, both of Kirbyville, fighting in the front yard of a residence.
According to the sheriff’s office, the brothers admitted to shooting guns into the air during the fight before pointing them at each other.
They were both arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the Jasper County Jail.
