A group of Brookeland students recently competed in the Texas State High School Rodeo Finals in Abilene. They represented Region V, which had thirteen rodeos during the school year.
The students were:
Harley Odom – senior
Finished 4th in Light Rifle, earning her a trip to the upcoming High School Rodeo Nationals in Rock Spring, Wyoming
Carson Bishop – sophomore
Finished in the top 15 in Steer Wrestling
Lexi Orchosky – senior
Finished in the top 25 in Barrel Racing
Gus Dorris – sophomore
Competed in Team Roping
