BJACH Changes COVID Screening Process Beginning Monday

Archived as originally published. Information reflects the date of this article.

BJACH will institute new COVID Screening Protocols starting Monday, February 28, 2022 – The COVID Screening site will no longer be available for walk-ins.

Soldiers who are experiencing COVID like symptoms or who need PCS and official travel screening will report to either Soldier Centered Medical Home or Fontaine Troop Medical Clinic during sick call hours of  0630 – 0800 only.

Beneficiaries must call 337-531-3011 to make an appointment and let the call center know they have COVID-like symptoms.  Upon arrival for their appointment at the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) patients must report their COVID-like symptoms to the reception/intake desk personnel who will have them escorted to a COVID screening room.

DOD Civilian Employees that test positive at the DoD directed self-testing site will report to the reception desk at the PCMH clinic between 1100-1130 and 1500-1530 for confirmatory testing.

**For moderate to severe symptoms that require urgent care, please report to the emergency room.**
