The Texas Department of Transportation says an 18-wheeler hauling chickens overturned early Tuesday morning in Center. It happened on U.S. Highway 96 at Loop 500 on the north side of that town.
TXDOT officials in the Lufkin office said that traffic had to be diverted around the wreck as crews worked to up-right the truck and trailer and move it off of the highway.
There’s no word on how the crash occurred or whether there were any injuries.
