Police in Beaumont have arrested a suspect in connection with stabbing that they say occurred on Wednesday morning at a convenience store in the 1050 block on Interstate 10.
Based on information obtained in an investigation of the incident officers obtained a warrant for the arrest of Eric Gross, 34, a few hours after the incident occurred.
KFDM is reporting that Eric Gross was arrested following a chase after he was later found walking near College Street.
Police believe Gross stabbed a man several times in a robbery.
Gross is charged with two counts of Evading Arrest with previous convictions, two Counts of Terroristic Threats Against a Peace Officer, and Aggravated Robbery.
Gross later appeared before a judge who set his bond at $700,00 and at last word, he remained in the Jefferson County Jail.
