Beaumont Police have arrested a man who they say fired several shots that hit and damaged a Beaumont fire station, and they say he fired a total of 18 rounds. Beaumont Police say they recovered nine 9mm shell casings and nine 40 caliber shell casings at the scene. It happened at about 3:00am on Sunday, August 18th at Beaumont fire station #2 on Helbig Road just north of Lucas Drive. Arrested was 20-year-old Kindall Anderson and police say he used the two different guns to shoot at a teenage girl and two other people who were walking by the fire station. Those three people were not hit by gunfire, but several rounds hit the fire station. Anderson has been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Deadly Conduct. Judge Marc DeRouen has set his total combined bond at $100,000.00. Judge DeRouen also ordered him to wear a GPS monitoring device, to not leave Jefferson County, and to have no contact with the people he was shooting at.
