The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Texas has announced that a Beaumont man has been sentenced to federal prison for frauding the government out of Coronavirus relief funds. Prosecutors say 35-year-old Acheon King Aleidron, who also uses the name Cameron Alexander, entered a guilty plea to a charge of Conspiracy to Commit Wire Fraud. U.S. District Judge Marcia Crone sentenced him to 4 years and 9 months in federal prison and also ordered him to pay $415,900.00 in restitution. According to prosecutors, Aleidron used a Beaumont address for a business named “The Fishing Factor” to fraudulently obtain $415,000.00.
