The Diocese of Beaumont has confirmed to KFDM 6 news that Kelly High School has forfeited three football wins this year, and is facing harsh sanctions from the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) for athletic violations. The Kelly football program is accused of fielding an ineligible player, improper recruiting, and violating transfer guidelines. The report didn’t specify exactly which games were forfeited, but we do know that Kelly’s football record now stands at 1-6.
