The United States Bureau of Prisons has announced that an inmate at the federal prison in Beaumont has died from injuries he received in a fight with other inmates that occurred on Monday night.
Prison officials say 35-year-old Ashford Tyrrell Eldridge had been imprisoned since May of last year and he was serving a 6 year and 5 month sentence for a firearms violation.
Meanwhile, two other inmates were also injured and they underwent hospital treatment.
