It's sad but true, another auto-pedestrian accident has occurred in Southeast Texas, leaving one person dead.
Police in Beaumont were dispatched to the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Calder Street, just to the west of the city's Downtown Area, shortly after 10:00 on Tuesday evening when it was reported that the accident occurred.
Who died and what happened is still unknown as officers investigate the incident.
Sgt. Haley Morrow has said additional information will be released sometime today.
